Mr Shepherd Muperi, Director – Benefits, Actuarial and Schemes Development, representing the General Manager, participated at another a panel discussion at the ongoing TNF Global Summit under the topic, “Building Productive Societies – Universal Healthcare and Mental Well-being.”

 The session provided a strategic platform for NSSA to contribute to national dialogue on the relationship between universal healthcare, occupational safety and health, mental well-being, social protection and productivity.

The discussion underscored that healthy and safe workers are fundamental to productive and sustainable societies. Particular attention was drawn to the need for workplaces to address both physical and psychosocial hazards, strengthen preventive health and safety measures, promote mental well-being, and ensure appropriate support for workers affected by occupational injuries, diseases and other health-related challenges.

 It also provided an opportunity to strengthen NSSA’s visibility and demonstrate the Authority’s contribution to the national decent-work agenda, particularly in promoting safe, healthy and resilient workplaces.

It was a very impactful discussion.
