Grossly disabled and workers with severe spinal cord injuries are admitted in the Paraplegic unit which has a capacity of 22 beds. Operating 24 hours a day, the unit train workers self-reliance skills on the activities of daily living. Also taught are bladder and bowel management for paraplegics and quadriplegics. A nursing officer is always on standby after hours.

Other dormitories with a capacity of 50 beds accommodate patients or rehabilitees from all over the country, who are admitted for medical care, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, supply of prostheses and orthoses, and vocational training.
